President's message
values and volunteers
We Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We recognize the value that college students with disabilities add to the diversity of the workplace. We believe in equal access to educational opportunities and career resources. We strive to identify and eliminate barriers that prevent full participation. Our new online Mentoring 4 Impact program for two City of University (CUNY) campuses creates inclusive learning environments where college students with disabilities feel respected, supported, and valued to fully participate.
We Empower College Students with Disabilities to Become Self-Advocates
We encourage college students with disabilities to become self-advocates who know their strengths, speak for themselves, decide what they want to do now or in the future, and take charge of their career goals.
We Foster Professional Growth Opportunities
We provide mentoring partnerships and job search preparedness training that enables college students with disabilities to refine their resumes, project a professional image, gain interview experience, and successfully attain jobs and internships.

Our Volunteers
We proudly recognize two outgoing Board members with Image Impact’s 2019-2020 Volunteer Recognition Awards for outstanding leadership. Immediate Past President Brad Angevine’s contributions were paramount to our past and future success. We congratulate him on his new senior position at a leading non-profit. VP Human Resources Marisol Rosero-Allen supported dozens of volunteers and implemented core improvements. We are grateful to them both for their continued, active involvement in our mission. Nobody does it alone. Our diverse community is valued and flourishing, despite these uncertain times. |
Our 2020-2021 Board of Directors invites you to make an impact with us.
